Becky Evasick Leads Old Time Jam
Quimper Grange is kicking off the New Year with an Old Time jam lead by local fiddler Becky Evasick, accompanied by Carol Hardy. If you are a regular at square or contra dances at our hall you have doubtlessly swung your partner and promenaded to Becky’s lively fiddling. Becky will start out by teaching a three part Cumberland Gap in G. Tunes for the jam will be both in G and AEAE tuning. This will be a good opportunity for those who only play in standard tuning on fiddle (GDAE) to try something new. All abilities are welcome. We are requesting $1-2 donation to help pay for heat.
