Ready to start or finish some projects?  Buy presents for yourself or others? Admission to this event is free. Family friendly!

VENDORS / SELLERS:  Reserve space now to sell your yarn, fabrics, tools, completed projects. Space is limited, reserve your area by mailing a $10 check or cash to the Quimper Grange mailbox. Please put ‘Sale' on the bottom corner of the envelope.

Each vendor will receive a 6' table space (provided if needed) with space around it for floor items. Set-up is 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

Come for a free scoop of ice cream, learn about how the Grange supports our community, and get a tour of the food bank garden!

QG FOOD BANK GARDEN NEWS

The note is short this August. All our time is being spent in harvesting and planting more to grow for this fall and winter. This month you can plant: Arugula, fall & winter lettuce, mizuna, collards, kale, daikon/winter radish, leaf mustards, mustard spinach, Chinese greens, spinach, winter onions & scallions, broccoli raab, according to Linda Gilkeson (www.lindagilkeson.ca/index.html) who I follow closely. 

We're looking for a special volunteer to identify a source and pick up used coffee grounds for our vermiculture bins. If you feel you can do this, or have any other volunteer interest, contact me at barbaratusting97@gmail.com.

Of course, our busiest time of year is the perfect time for our steadfast volunteers to go on vacation, family visits, or tend to their own gardens. If you can help for a day or a month, we need your energy! Learn about growing vegetables while you plant for others.

Grange Membership
Support your local Grange! Become a member! Help keep the hall available for community concerts, events, dances and rentals! Meetings occur the third Sunday of the month, 7:00 pm at the Quimper Grange Hall. Come at 6:30 and meet members and learn about activities, concerts and new projects we’re considering. Building Rentals
Rent our Grange Hall for your event or meeting. We have an excellent air filtration system and a beautiful interior. Contact Doug at quimpergrange@gmail.com and arrange for an orientation. Check our website under “Calendar of Events” to see if the date you want is available; then call us at 360-531-0326 for more information.
 
Donations
Your support keeps the Grange Hall maintained and open to offer music, dance, community events, and private rentals. Checks made out to “Quimper Grange #720” can be mailed to 1219 Corona Ave, Port Townsend WA 98368.
