JAN 4th, 7:00-9:00 OLD TIME JAM with JENNY MONFORE
Musician and dance caller Jenny Monfore will lead the first Quimper Grange Old Time Jam of the year. Jenny is a DIY kind of gal and has been acquiring skills that not only include being a multi instrumentalist, dance caller and flatfooter but other folk skills useful for living an independent lifestyle. On this DIY trajectory she is moving to our town to attend the Port Townsend School of Woodworking and Preservation at Fort Worden.
Jenny will be start by teaching “John Browns” in A and has chosen to lead tunes in her two favorite keys: cross- A (AEAE tuning on the fiddle) and the key of C.
So, get out your instruments and come join us! All skill levels are welcome. Suggested donation of $1-2 to cover costs of heating the hall. Snacks to share encouraged. Questions? Call Marla 360-385-6924

A post-holiday storm? Yep, at Quimper Grange! January 14! Caller Dave Thielk, along with the carnivorous Possum Carvers, welcomes all ages and all abilities. Come on down to the Grange by your lonesome, with a friend, or with your tribe.
All dances taught, all ages and experience levels are welcome. Dancing starts at 8:00, or come at 7:00 and jam with the band.. Dancers are encouraged to bring snacks to share, and their own personal water bottle. For more info call Dave Thielk at 360-602-1270.
