This month's Old Time Jam will be led by Eva Leach who grew up surrounded by music. Her family lived next to the sheep field
Eva holding forth at the Centralia Old Time Campout
which is the site of the Centralia Old Time Campout, started by her fiddling parents almost 15 years ago and Eva has been a participant at Centrum's Fiddle Tunes Festival for almost as long.

The tune Eva plans to teach at the jam is Newt Payne's Great Big Taters in the key of G (standard tuning on fiddles). We will also be playing in the key of A. All levels of players are welcome however the jam is geared toward an intermediate skill level. A donation of $1or $2 is requested to help pay to heat the hall. Snacks to share are encouraged.
Any questions about the jam? call Marla 360-385-6924

March 11(Saturday) 8:00-11 Square Dance

Caller Jenny Monfore

March is the month of change. Peas go in the ground. Other garden work, also. Daylight savings begins, which means we all go crazy on March 12. Spring starts on March 21. So much to think about. Better get on over to the Quimper Grange and get on an even keel! Jenny Monfore is calling this month.  Jenny is a recent transplant to Port Townsend who plays hot fiddle, as well as calling cool dances. This may be your one and only chance to dance for her as she is attending the Woodworking school for just a few months.  The band is Ratrap. Ratrap is Dave Thielk, Chris Cooper, Terry Weiner and Nancy Katz.  They are still kicking out square dance tunes after all these years!   Check 'em out.

All dances are taught.  All ages and experience levels are welcome. This a family friendly event.  Dancers are advised to bring their own personal water container.  And, if inclined, they can bring some light snacks to share. Dancing starts at 8 PM, but you can come at 7 PM and jam with the band.  Adults $6.  16 and under free.

March 18 (Saturday) 7:30-11 Contra Dance: Greg and Jere Canote, LauraMe Smith Calling

For our upcoming contra dance we are blessed to have the famous Canote Brothers, Greg and Jere, playing their incredibly fun and driving music.  With over 40 years of playing together their music brings us all together as one big dancing family.

LauraMe Smith will be calling.  She too has been on the dance scene for many years, and seems to have an infinite amount of dances up her sleeve. Best of all she brings amazing humor to the dance floor.
admission $6,  under 16 free
